Well, it's probably about time I kept Veg company on here...
Took Fromage on the Greenway this morning. After a significant initial disappointment (no Carrera TDFs in stock at Halfords), we set off for "somewhere just short of Dewsbury". Amazingly, nothing disastrous happened to us en route, which caused a significant amount of confusion and consternation. We stopped at the junction with the Calder Valley Greenway (note to self: investigate when fit), and after only a brief pause to watch some junior rugby, set off back.
The ever so slight uphill incline set about us at this point, and all pretensions to velocity were abandoned as we staggered to Cleckheaton for lunch. Of course, being Cleckheaton, everything was closed for Sunday, but eventually we settled down in Wetherspoon's with BBQ chicken, bacon and cheese paninis, which met with approval.
The last 3 miles back to base were probably the hardest I've ever cycled, in fact wheeling like last time was almost preferable. Nevertheless, we got some good miles under our belts, in amazingly clement weather considering, and back in time for dinner. Result.

"Took Fromage on the Greenway this morning."
Haha! It sounds like a picnic!
I like the way that you said 'investigate when fit' but we've done it anyway.
